Château Vial

Château Vial is a government building in the hills north of Kpalimé consisting of a main structure and a tower. The compound offers views across the surrounding landscape and functions as an official workplace for state activities.

Construction began in the early 1940s under German planning and the building later became a venue for meetings with international leaders. A renovation in 1979 restored the facility's role as an administrative center.

The château functions as a governmental meeting place where the Togolese cabinet assembles to discuss national matters and receive international dignitaries.
