Dnipro Academic Drama and Comedy Theatre

The Dnipro Academic Drama and Comedy Theatre is a classical two-story building featuring columns, pilasters, and sculptural ornaments across its facade. The interior has been modernized to accommodate contemporary stage equipment and comfortable seating for audiences.

The theater was founded in 1847 by wealthy merchants to establish a cultural center for the city. After suffering severe damage during World War II, the building underwent major reconstruction in 1956.
