Ford Hall, Female residence hall at Kansas State University, United States
Ford Hall is a nine-story residence building in the Derby Complex featuring white brick facades and suite-style rooms for students. The structure houses accommodations with shared living spaces that shape daily student life.
The building was completed in 1966 and named after Kenney L. Ford, who served as Secretary of the Kansas State Alumni Association for many years. The naming honors his significant contribution to the institution.
Students living in Ford Hall participate in annual homecoming competitions, with the residence winning multiple awards including Hall of the Year recognition in 2011.
The residence provides students with furnished rooms, study spaces, computer stations, and an exercise area for fitness. A direct connection to the Derby Dining Center makes it convenient for meals without leaving the complex.
Ford Hall maintains its status as an all-female residence facility, accommodating over 500 students with access to the Quik Cats convenience store inside the complex.
