Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden

Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a large garden property in Rockford featuring seven specialty garden sections with ornamental plants, trees, and flowering specimens. Visitors walk through connected areas on paved pathways and natural trails that connect the different garden sections throughout the grounds.

The land evolved from agricultural use into a botanical garden with collections of rare and ornamental trees. This transformation created a natural space where diverse garden types now grow side by side in northern Illinois.
