Moraine State Park

Moraine State Park is a protected landscape in Pennsylvania centered on a large lake surrounded by forests and open meadows. The grounds feature hiking and biking trails throughout, a lengthy shoreline for water activities, and designated areas for horseback riding.

The area was originally home to the Erie people who lived here until the 1600s, when broader conflicts led them to abandon the region. The park itself developed much later as a protected space to preserve the landscape.
