Mount Lebanon Shaker Village, Religious heritage museum in New Lebanon, New York, United States.
The Mount Lebanon Shaker Village extends across 72 acres and contains numerous buildings that demonstrate Shaker architectural principles and community design.
Founded in 1787, this settlement grew into the central ministry of the Shaker movement, accommodating 600 residents and 125 buildings on 6,000 acres by 1860.
The museum presents collections of Shaker furniture, textiles, and tools, reflecting their dedication to simplicity, functionality, and excellent craftsmanship.
The Shaker Museum is currently relocating its collections from Old Chatham to Mount Lebanon, where restoration work continues on the North Family buildings.
The site features the remains of the Great Stone Barn from 1859, which was the largest stone barn construction in the United States.
