Old Second National Bank, Prairie School bank building in Aurora, Illinois.

The Old Second National Bank features ten brick columns extending from the pink granite foundation to the red-tiled saddleback roof.

Architect George Grant Elmslie designed this financial institution in 1924, during the final period of the Prairie School architectural movement.

The interior of the bank contains a three-panel mural by John Norton depicting scenes of Aurora from the 1830s.

The building, located at coordinates 41.757778, -88.318333, received National Register of Historic Places designation on May 8, 1979.
