Palmer Motorsports Park, Racing circuit in Palmer, Massachusetts, US
Palmer Motorsports Park is a road course in Palmer, Massachusetts, built on the site of a former granite quarry on Whiskey Hill. The track winds through hilly terrain with noticeable elevation changes, making it technically demanding for drivers of all levels.
The land was once an active granite quarry before being transformed into a racing circuit in the early 2000s. The project turned an abandoned industrial site into one of the few dedicated motorsport facilities in the northeastern United States.
The park is known for its social events, where members gather to drive and spend time together after sessions on the track. One annual tradition pairs a day of lapping with a lobster dinner, giving the place a relaxed, community-driven feel.
The circuit is about 70 miles (110 km) west of Boston and is best reached by car. It welcomes both members and visitors looking for driving experiences, so checking the event calendar before your visit is a good idea since operations are seasonal.
The track can be driven in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, offering two entirely different experiences on the same asphalt. Depending on the direction chosen, drivers face different corner sequences and braking points, which effectively doubles the variety available on a single layout.
