Park Towne Place features four eighteen-story buildings with limestone-tan brick, white marble, and aluminum trim across a 10-acre property in Philadelphia.
Milton Schwartz designed this International style residential complex, which was completed in 1958 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
The complex represents post-war American architectural development through its International style design, reinforced concrete construction, and modernist rectangular forms.
The property includes underground parking facilities, a swimming pool, spa amenities, and a central office area for resident services.
In 2021, all four towers required evacuation procedures when Tropical Storm Ida caused substantial flooding throughout the residential complex.
