Seiberling Mansion, Victorian mansion in Kokomo, Indiana, US
The three-story brick mansion features a mixture of Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival styles with a stone foundation and a distinctive tower roof.
Monroe Seiberling constructed this residence in 1889 for $50,000 during the Indiana gas boom while operating the Diamond Plate Glass Company.
The mansion interior displays Victorian-era decorations, including original wood carvings, parquet floors, and period-accurate stained glass windows throughout the rooms.
The Howard County Museum at Seiberling Mansion welcomes visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 1200 West Sycamore Street.
The mansion's original icebox remained hidden behind drywall panels until its discovery during renovations and now stands as an exhibit piece.
