War in the Pacific National Historical Park

The park spans 2,037 acres with preserved World War II battlefields, gun emplacements, trenches, and military fortifications across multiple units in Guam.

Japanese forces occupied Guam from 1941 until American forces reclaimed the island in 1944 through operations at Asan Beach and Agat landing sites.

The T. Stell Newman Visitor Center displays artifacts and exhibits that tell stories of both military personnel and local residents during World War II.

Visitors can explore seven separate park units featuring coastal defense guns, tunnels, and memorial sites through guided tours and educational programs.

The Memorial Wall of Names records the identities of United States service members and Guam civilians who perished during the Pacific Theater conflicts.
