Target Plaza South

Target Plaza South is a 33-story office tower in downtown Minneapolis constructed with modern glass and steel materials throughout its exterior. The building features expansive glass walls and steel framing that give it a contemporary appearance fitting its downtown location.

Construction began in 1999 and finished in 2001, establishing the building as the new corporate headquarters for Target. The project marked an important moment in Minneapolis's downtown development at the start of the new millennium.

This building represents early 21st century commercial architecture in Minneapolis, with its contemporary design reflecting the city's corporate identity.

The building connects to Target Plaza North via an eighth-floor walkway, making it easy to access both structures. Underground parking is available for employees and visitors who need to park while in the downtown area.

The upper floors feature a color-changing lighting system created by 3M that transforms the appearance of the tower after dark. This dynamic illumination creates visual effects that have become part of the Minneapolis skyline experience.
