Trib Total Media Amphitheatre, Concert venue in South Shore, United States
The Trib Total Media Amphitheatre was an outdoor concert venue along Pittsburgh's riverfront at Station Square, holding approximately 5,000 people. A covered section protected a large portion of the seating from the elements while keeping performances accessible to outdoor audiences.
The venue opened in 1989 as the Melody Amphitheatre and went through several name changes over the years. It ceased operations in 2012 after serving the community for more than two decades.
The venue hosted diverse musical performances and cultural celebrations, from rock concerts to ethnic festivals that drew audiences from across the region. It became a gathering place where different communities came together to share and celebrate their traditions.
The venue was located at Station Square with excellent connections to public transportation, making it easy to reach from across the region. Its riverside position made it a convenient destination for large outdoor events.
A major renovation in 1999 repositioned the stage to face west and added a protective roof overhead. This upgrade significantly improved sight lines and weather protection for a large portion of the audience.
