Huber Woods Park, County park in Middletown Township, United States.
Huber Woods Park is a county park covering 158 acres with woodlands, open meadows, and eight miles of trails that overlook the Navesink River in New Jersey. The landscape includes varied habitats with river views and paths suitable for walking and horseback riding.
The park began in 1974 when the Huber family and J.M. Huber Corporation donated 48 acres of land, with additional acreage acquired over time. This initial gift formed the foundation for what exists today.
The Environmental Center hosts regular programs about local wildlife and natural ecosystems that draw community members and visitors throughout the year.
The trails range from easy paths for beginners to challenging routes for experienced hikers and horseback riders. Wear sturdy footwear and prepare for varying terrain and weather conditions when visiting.
The original Huber family residence still stands within the park grounds, displaying German architectural features from the early 1900s. This house offers visitors a glimpse into the family's past and the park's origins.
