Beach C

Beach C is a sandy shoreline on the northeastern coast of Middletown Township that opens directly onto the Atlantic Ocean. The beach extends along the waterfront with gentle slopes and shallow areas close to the shore.

This location became part of Middletown Township in the 17th century when Dutch settlers established the first permanent communities along this Atlantic shoreline. The coastal area developed gradually from a sparsely populated region into an important settlement.

Throughout summer months, Beach C hosts regular community gatherings where residents participate in local festivals celebrating maritime traditions and coastal heritage.

Lifeguard stations operate during busy seasons to ensure water safety for swimmers. The location offers parking areas and basic facilities such as restrooms and changing rooms.

Marine mammals visit the waters regularly, especially during early morning and evening hours when the water is quieter. Dolphins often swim close to shore at these times, offering viewing opportunities for attentive visitors.
