Magic City, Strip club and nightclub in downtown Atlanta, United States
Magic City is a three-story nightclub with stages and bar space in downtown Atlanta. The space is divided into several levels with different seating zones, all offering views of dance floors and performance platforms.
Michael Barney founded the club in 1985 at a time when Atlanta was becoming an important hip-hop city. The downtown location attracted musicians and producers from the late eighties onward, shaping the venue's reputation.
In the nineties, the club became a meeting point for Southern rappers who introduced new music there. The name still appears in many lyrics and interviews today because several artists had early performances here and built connections.
The club opens Monday through Saturday in the afternoon and stays open until the early morning hours. Table reservations with bottle service are available by prior arrangement.
The club kitchen serves chicken wings with lemon pepper sauce named after basketball player Lou Williams. Williams visited the venue during the 2020 pandemic, bringing the dish into national headlines.
