75 Wall Street

75 Wall Street is a 43-story tower in the Financial District combining residential condominiums on upper floors with a Hyatt Centric hotel on lower levels. The structure integrates private apartments with a full-service hotel operation within a single building envelope.

Built in 1987 as Barclays bank's North American headquarters, the building underwent major conversion starting in 2009 to create its current mixed-use purpose. This transformation shifted it from a single corporate tenant to a diverse community of residents and hotel guests.

The excavation of the construction site in 1984 uncovered more than 250,000 artifacts, contributing to the understanding of early Manhattan settlement.

The building's lobby and common areas are accessible during daytime hours, allowing visitors to explore the public spaces. The Wall Street location offers excellent access via public transit and walking routes to nearby parks and waterfront attractions.
