BibleWalk, Religious wax museum in Mansfield, US
BibleWalk presents over 300 life-size wax figures arranged in 78 scenes depicting stories from the Bible through detailed displays and audio narration.
The museum opened in 1987 with 16 scenes after Pastor Richard Diamond and his wife Alwilda were motivated by their visit to a religious scene in Atlanta.
The five distinct tours include The Life of Christ, Miracles of the Old Testament, Museum of Christian Martyrs, Heart of the Reformation, and Amazing Grace.
The museum offers convenient parking facilities and operates regular guided tours, with special dinner theater events occurring from April through June.
Several wax figures in biblical scenes originated from closed celebrity museums, resulting in adaptations of figures originally representing John Travolta and Tom Cruise.
