St. Philip Neri Cathedral, Los Teques

The cathedral features a symmetrical stone facade with two bell towers and stands prominently in front of Plaza Bolivar in downtown Los Teques.

Built in 1790 under the direction of parish priest Manuel Antonio Fernandez Feo, the cathedral began as a modest oratory serving the local Spanish colonial population.

The cathedral serves as the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Los Teques, conducting regular masses and religious ceremonies for the Miranda state community.

Visitors can reach the cathedral through public transportation from Caracas, with several parking spaces available in the surrounding streets of downtown Los Teques.

The cathedral houses an Aristide Cavaillé-Coll organ from 1893, which was relocated from Caracas to Los Teques in 1967.
