Pho Lu Bridge

The steel bridge connects the regions of Lao Cai and Bao Thang across the Hong River, supporting both vehicular and railway traffic on separate levels.

The bridge functions as a meeting point during local festivities where residents from both sides gather to celebrate traditional Vietnamese events.

Regular maintenance checks occur every third month, ensuring the structure remains safe for the numerous cargo trucks and passenger trains that cross daily.

The bridge design incorporates dual-purpose engineering, allowing trains to pass on the lower deck while vehicles utilize the upper level simultaneously.
