The Christ Church building features Gothic Revival architecture with a square tower, battlements, pinnacles, and detailed stained glass windows throughout the structure.
Established in 1749, the current stone church building dates from 1910, replacing earlier wooden structures that served the Anglican congregation since 1705.
The church maintains six choirs following the Royal School of Church Music certification program, with regular performances during services and concerts.
The church campus includes a chapel, parish hall, bookshop, nursery school, and administrative offices, offering daily services and community programs.
In 2022, the church installed a new Harrison and Harrison pipe organ, complementing its extensive musical programming and traditional worship services.
