Schloss Amalienlust, Baroque summer residence in Kirn, Germany.
The palace consists of two main pavilions connected by colonnades, arranged in an elliptical layout around the central Mühlenteich water feature.
Prince Friedrich III commissioned French architect Jacques Denis Antoine in 1780 to build this residence for his sister Princess Amalie Zephyrine.
The design merges French neoclassical architecture with German baroque elements, reflecting the cross-cultural connections of the Salm-Kyrburg dynasty.
The palace exterior remains visible from public areas, while the interior maintains private residential status without regular visitor access.
The original water pavilion by the Nahe River disappeared in 1857 during the construction of the Rhein-Nahe railway line.
