Gurrehus is a manor house situated near Gurre Lake, approximately five kilometers west of Helsingør. The property consists of multiple buildings surrounded by woodland that retains its agricultural character.
The estate served as a residence for the local forester beginning in 1713 and remained under crown ownership until 1779. Later, Prince George of Greece acquired the property and had it expanded by architect Gotfred Tvede.
