Grant Park is an urban park in Chicago Loop that runs along Lake Michigan. The grounds include several gardens, sporting facilities, monuments, and fountains across 129 hectares (319 acres).

Crown Fountain by Jaume Plensa displays faces of residents on two towers that alternate and release water from their mouths. Visitors often see children playing in the shallow pool between the towers, responding to the water flow.
The grounds are open daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM and offer paths for walking, biking, and skating. Two marinas on the shore provide lake access for boaters.
Buckingham Fountain was built in 1927 based on the Latona Fountain at Versailles and is among the largest of its kind worldwide. At night it is illuminated with colored lights that move with the water jets.
