The field received its name in 1980 to honor the first men's varsity soccer coach at Bowling Green State University, with official stadium opening in 1995.
The facility serves as the primary venue for both men's and women's Bowling Green Falcons soccer teams throughout their competitive seasons.
The stadium features a press box, team benches, multiple flag staffs, and a scoreboard that enhances the viewing experience for spectators.
In 2011, the stadium hosted its first night game when the women's team competed against Western Michigan on October 21.
