Grand Street Campus

The Grand Street Campus is an educational complex in Williamsburg housing three separate high schools with distinct academic programs within a single building. The facility spans multiple floors and includes two cafeterias, six gymnasiums, nine computer laboratories, and specialized workshops for hands-on learning.

The facility opened in 1981 and underwent major reorganization in 1996 when Eastern District High School transformed into the current multi-school campus structure. This change allowed multiple school communities to operate together under one roof.

The three schools share common spaces and athletic facilities where students from different programs learn and train alongside each other on a daily basis. This shared environment builds connections across the separate school communities.

The building offers multiple entry points and is accessible by public transportation, making it straightforward to reach the campus. As an active school facility with regular student activities, visitors should plan visits during appropriate times and contact the administration in advance.

Although the three schools operate independently, they share specialized resources like computer laboratories and workshops, allowing the campus to maximize the use of expensive equipment. This arrangement enables smaller academic programs to access facilities that would otherwise be costly to maintain separately.
