Kokomo Beach

Kokomo Beach is a sandy shore on the western side of Curaçao with shallow, clear water and scattered palm trees. The beach stretches along a gentle coastline with small restaurants and facilities set back from the water's edge.

The island became a Dutch possession in 1634 and developed into an important maritime trading hub for the Caribbean region. The western coast where this beach sits gradually transformed from a working fishing area into a leisure destination.
