Bicycle Tree, Natural landmark in Brig o' Turk, Scotland.

The Bicycle Tree, a sycamore maple specimen, stands along Glen Finglas road, displaying metal parts embedded within its expanding trunk.

During World War I, a local resident left his bicycle against this tree before departing for military service, never returning to retrieve it.

The metal-absorbing tree represents local traditions and narratives, serving as a connection between the community and its wartime memories.

Visitors can reach the tree by following the main road through Brig o' Turk village, approximately half a mile north of the settlement.

The trunk contains various metal objects, including parts of the original bicycle and an anchor chain, which the tree has grown around over decades.
