Santa Maria delle Grazie

Santa Maria delle Grazie is a church building with three naves, featuring a Baroque main portal with Renaissance elements and three entrances on its principal facade. Natural light enters through a large semicircular window, illuminating the marble flooring throughout the interior.

Construction began in 1530 as a small structure and underwent significant expansion in the 1600s. The church was completely rebuilt in 1770, resulting in its present form.

The interior displays Calabrian-Neapolitan Baroque decorations with columns and capitals topped by rounded arches. Marble floors and ornate details throughout reflect the regional architectural traditions of the area.

Access is available through the main entrance or additional side entrances, offering multiple entry points to explore the interior. The space is well-lit by natural light, making it easy to see the details within.

The sacristy features carved wooden covering and houses a canvas painting depicting the baptism of Abbot Joachim of Fiore. This artistic depiction reflects the religious devotion and skilled craftsmanship of the period.
