Comet Express

Comet Express is a steel roller coaster at Lotte World that travels through three separate rooms with spiraling turns and enclosed sections throughout. The ride lasts around two minutes and fifteen seconds, delivering continuous spinning motion in a completely covered track layout.

Built in 1995 by Intamin and designed by Ing.-Büro Stengel GmbH, this coaster opened at Lotte World as one of the first advanced indoor rides of its kind in South Korea. Its debut marked a significant step in bringing sophisticated indoor amusement technology to the region's entertainment landscape.

Within South Korea's entertainment landscape, Comet Express represents the advancement of indoor amusement technology in Asian theme park development.

A minimum height of 120 centimeters is required, allowing both children and adults to ride. Keep in mind that the entire experience takes place indoors, which means the environment remains comfortable regardless of weather outside.

The ride uses booster wheels to accelerate rapidly through the three rooms while executing multiple elevation changes within tight spaces. This special construction allows intense turns and drops without requiring much floor space.
