French Revolution, Indoor roller coaster at Lotte World Adventure in Seoul, South Korea
French Revolution is an indoor roller coaster at Lotte World Adventure featuring a 630-meter steel track with a vertical loop and a 540-degree helix. The ride reaches speeds of 70 kilometers per hour during its path through the covered venue.
The roller coaster opened alongside Lotte World in July 1989 as part of the theme park's inaugural attractions. It received a virtual reality upgrade in November 2016, transforming into French Revolution2 VR and enhancing the ride experience.
The roller coaster stands as a central entertainment element in Lotte World, reflecting South Korea's modern approach to indoor theme park attractions.
Riders must be at least 120 centimeters tall to participate in the experience. The Magic Pass reservation system allows visitors to reduce waiting times before boarding.
The ride creates a startling illusion of nearly colliding with the surrounding indoor structures while spinning at full speed. This effect is heightened by the close proximity of the coaster to the theme park's covered architecture.
