Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Baseball stadium in Jamsil-dong, South Korea.
Jamsil Baseball Stadium is a three-story baseball facility in Seoul with 59 entrance gates serving different sections. The outfield extends 125 meters from center field and 100 meters from the sides.
Construction started in April 1980 and the stadium opened in July 1982 as the first dedicated baseball facility in South Korea. This opening marked a turning point for baseball development in the country.
Two professional Korean baseball teams call this stadium home and play their regular season games here to enthusiastic crowds. The facility has become a gathering place where fans celebrate their teams and create memorable moments together.
The stadium provides parking for around 2200 vehicles and connects directly to Sports Complex Station via exits 5 and 6 of subway lines 2 and 9. This direct subway link makes visiting straightforward, especially during games when traffic is heavy.
Substantial renovations took place in 2020 when new folding chairs were installed throughout the outfield seating sections. These upgrades significantly improved visitor comfort and gave the venue a more contemporary look.
