SEOUL SKY, Observation deck in Jamsil, Seoul, South Korea

SEOUL SKY is an observation deck occupying floors 117 to 123 of the Lotte World Tower in the Jamsil neighborhood of Seoul, South Korea. The walls are almost entirely glass, giving visitors an unobstructed view of the city in every direction.

The Lotte World Tower, which houses Seoul Sky, opened in 2017 after decades of planning and about eight years of construction. Building so close to the existing Lotte World amusement park required unusually deep foundations.

Seoul Sky is easy to reach by subway from Jamsil Station, with signs guiding you directly to the tower entrance. Lines can grow long on weekends and holidays, so arriving early in the day or in the late afternoon tends to make the visit smoother.

The Sky Bridge, an outdoor walkway at the very top of the tower, is only about 36 feet (11 meters) long but sits more than 1,700 feet (520 meters) above the ground. Visitors who complete the crossing receive an official certificate as a souvenir.
