The Pointe de Lanserlia reaches an elevation of 2909 meters and presents views of the Grande Casse, Pointe Matthews, and multiple glaciers in Vanoise National Park.

The geological formation of Pointe de Lanserlia originated during the Jurassic period, with its rocks shaped through continuous natural erosion processes over millions of years.

The summit forms part of Vanoise National Park, established to protect the regional biodiversity and maintain natural mountain landscapes for future generations.

Hikers can reach the summit through a 10.6-kilometer trail from Bellecombe parking area, involving a 642-meter elevation gain and requiring approximately 4 hours.

Three mountain lakes surround the summit at different elevations: Lac ouest at 2784 meters, Lac nord at 2762 meters, and Lac sud at 2748 meters.
