Fontaine Lambrecht, Memorial fountain in Place Saint-Barthélémy, Liège, Belgium.
The square-shaped fountain features four semi-circular basins, a domed roof with a pine cone crown, and bronze plates covering oculi on each side.
Built in 1930, the fountain commemorates Dieudonné Lambrecht, who organized a railway espionage network in Ardennes and was executed by German forces in 1916.
The structure incorporates materials from the former Saint-Lambert Cathedral and exemplifies the regional Mosan architectural style through its design and construction elements.
Located at Place St Barthélémy 2 in central Liège, the fountain remains operational and maintained by the city administration throughout the year.
The bronze plates on the fountain display inscriptions detailing Lambrecht's military distinctions, including his appointment as Knight of the Order of Leopold.
