Plage de la Moutte

Plage de la Moutte is a sandy beach along the Saint-Tropez coast featuring fine sand that stretches for about 300 meters. The shoreline is bordered by reeds and low vegetation, opening to views across the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the surrounding hills.

The beach was preserved through a donation by Annette Troisier de Diaz to France's Coastal Foundation. This gift ensured the site would remain in its natural state for future generations.

The beach reflects how locals value unspoiled coastline, where visitors experience the Mediterranean landscape without commercial intrusion. The way people use this space shows the community's commitment to preserving natural environments.

Access is via a pedestrian path along Chemin des Treilles de la Moutte, with parking needed before the private residence barrier. The walk is manageable but the beach has no facilities like showers or restrooms.

The beach deliberately remains free of shops and facilities, setting it apart from typical tourist areas. This lack of development makes it a quiet place to rest and observe the natural surroundings.
