Mon Choisy Public Beach

Mon Choisy Public Beach is a 3-kilometer stretch of golden sand on the northwestern coast with clear blue waters. Casuarina trees line the entire shoreline, providing shade along the waterfront.

In 1933, an aircraft made the first landing here in Mauritius' aviation history. This event marked a turning point for the island's connection to the outside world.
