Museo La Casa Del Inquisidor

The building houses a collection of 37 mummified bodies discovered during the restoration work of the Santo Domingo Temple in Zacatecas.

The museum's exhibits present the social control methods and judicial procedures implemented by the Spanish Inquisition in colonial Mexico.

Located at Avenida Hidalgo 413-A in downtown Zacatecas, the museum operates daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM with guided tours lasting approximately one hour.

The museum maintains replicas of the mummies found in Santo Domingo Temple alongside an extensive collection of historical torture instruments used during inquisition trials.
