WTC Mall, Shopping mall in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
WTC Mall is a shopping mall in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is part of a larger complex that includes a souk, offices, and residences, with a mix of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options.
The mall was built on the site of the old Central Market and opened in 2019 as part of the World Trade Center Abu Dhabi development. It replaced the earlier market while keeping the idea of a central shopping place.
The souk section recreates a traditional market across three levels, with stalls selling jewellery, perfumes, textiles, and spices. Visitors can wander through and experience a modern take on Emirati shopping traditions.
The mall is in the Tourist Club Area, easy to reach by car or taxi, with parking available. It is open daily from morning until late evening, and the souk is connected via a bridge, so you can visit both in one trip.
The mall has a fully retractable roof that can open to let in natural light and fresh air. It also houses the longest and tallest stainless-steel slide in the world, located at Velocity.
