L'Escapade des Sens

L'Escapade des Sens is a gastronomic restaurant housed in the Hotel de France et de Russie that serves refined dishes made with seasonal produce from local suppliers. The dining room sits within a historic building that has been thoughtfully adapted for restaurant service.

The building dates from 1776 and originally served as a private residence before becoming a tax office and bank. It was later transformed into a hotel that now houses the restaurant.

The chef trained under renowned French masters, including a stint with Alain Ducasse in Monaco and Philippe Redon in Limoges. These experiences shape how the kitchen approaches local ingredients and cooking techniques.

The restaurant operates from Tuesday through Saturday for both lunch and dinner service, plus Sunday lunch. Reservations are recommended since seating is limited.

The restaurant maintains its own truffle orchard with trees and produces honey from beehives in the surrounding area. These homegrown products appear regularly on the menu.
