St George Motor Boat Club
St George Motor Boat Club is a restaurant and pub located along the waterfront at Kogarah Bay in Georges River Council. The building features large windows overlooking the water, an outdoor seating area, and comfortable indoor spaces for groups and individuals.
The club was founded many decades ago to serve boat owners seeking a place to gather and enjoy the water. The building has proven its worth and remains true to its original purpose of serving people who love the water and local community.
The club takes its name from the St George area and remains closely tied to the local boating community. Visitors experience a relaxed environment where boat owners and water enthusiasts gather to share their passion for the bay.
The club is best visited during warmer months when many people come to the water and outdoor areas are in full use. A shuttle bus service runs every 15 minutes to help visitors when the car park becomes full.
The club celebrates a special event called Life and Vets Day for members who have been with it for 25 years or more, showing strong ties to long-term community. Young visitors can join monthly kids fishing days where children can fish with prizes for their catches.
