ROOF Paris sits atop the former Louvre Post Office and combines an indoor dining area with an open terrace overlooking the cityscape. The space offers views of the Saint-Eustache Church and the surrounding rooftops.
The building was completed in 1888 and served as Paris's main post office for more than a century. After its conversion, the restaurant now occupies part of the structure while preserving the original architectural character.
The menu blends French cooking traditions with Japanese elements through dishes featuring seasonal ingredients prepared with fresh ideas. Diners experience how two distinct food cultures can work together on a single plate.
Arrive on time since reservations are time-specific and late arrival may affect your booking. A credit card is required at reservation, and there is a minimum spending requirement per person.
Part of the space functions as a dedicated lounge with projection equipment for private gatherings of small groups. This separate area allows the venue to adapt to different occasions beyond regular dining.
