Flagship Resort
The Flagship Resort is a 32-story hotel building in Atlantic City standing at the start of the famous Boardwalk and facing directly toward the ocean. Accommodations range from studios to suites with separate kitchens, dining areas, and private balconies, while amenities include a fitness center, indoor pool with hot tub, and the Blue Water Grille restaurant on the seventh floor with water views.
The resort was completed in 1988 and displays modern architecture with numerous windows that reflect sunlight and make it recognizable from a distance. The building was developed by FantaSea Resorts, a company that owns and operates multiple properties throughout Atlantic City.
The Flagship Resort sits right on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, a place where visitors walk, enjoy views, and watch the rhythm of seaside life. The building shapes the local character through its central location, where travelers and locals gather to spend time together.
The building offers free indoor parking, shuttle service, free Wi-Fi throughout the resort, and a shop with basic supplies for forgotten items. The location makes it easy for visitors to walk to most nearby attractions such as the Steel Pier and Absecon Lighthouse.
Many rooms are sold as timeshares, giving buyers the right to stay there for part of the year, with visitors usually flown into the city and asked to listen to a brief presentation before their stay. In June 2019, the resort hosted a special boxing event where famous boxers including Bernard Hopkins met fans and signed autographs.
