Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Casino and marina complex in Atlantic City, United States
Golden Nugget Atlantic City is a casino and marina complex in Atlantic City, New Jersey, covering about 74,000 square feet (6,900 square meters) of gaming floor alongside 717 guest rooms. The complex includes several restaurants, entertainment options, and the Farley State Marina where boats can dock.
Hilton Hotels built the property in the mid-1980s but sold it before opening to Donald Trump, who named it Trump's Castle. After several ownership changes, the Golden Nugget group took over in 2011 and renamed the resort accordingly.
The resort offers table games like blackjack and roulette, plus a separate poker room open around the clock. Some guests spend their evenings watching live shows or placing wagers on sporting events, while others sample American or international cuisine in the dining rooms.
The resort features an outdoor pool and spa along with several restaurants offering different dining choices. Guests arriving by boat can dock directly at the Farley State Marina, which is part of the property.
The name changed several times between 1985 and 2011, with the building also known briefly as the Atlantic City Hilton and ACH. A comprehensive renovation in 2012 brought new furnishings for the rooms and upgraded equipment for the gaming areas.
