The property began as the Ambassador Hotel in 1919 before transforming into the Tropicana Casino and Resort, which opened its doors in 1981.
The Quarter, a 200,000-square-foot complex within the resort, displays architecture and decorations inspired by Old Havana street scenes.
The resort houses 30 restaurants, 30 retail shops, 20 bars, multiple swimming pools, and the only IMAX theater in Atlantic City.
In 2016, the property underwent a 200-million-dollar renovation project to modernize its facilities and expand entertainment offerings.
