Seebrücke Sellin, Wooden pier in Sellin, Germany
The Sellin Pier stretches 394 meters into the Baltic Sea with a central pavilion housing restaurants and observation decks at its end.
Built in 1906 as a landing stage for steamships, the pier was reconstructed in 1998 based on historical photographs from its 1927 design.
The Baltic Hall within the pier pavilion hosts classical music concerts, maritime dinners, and serves as a popular wedding venue throughout the year.
Visitors can access the beach through an elevator or 85 steps, while the pier offers boat tours to neighboring coastal resorts and chalk cliffs.
A diving gondola at the pier end allows visitors to descend underwater and observe the Baltic Sea marine life through glass windows.
