Outpost One

Outpost One is a science fiction museum in Dassow that brings together fan-created displays and replicas from imaginary worlds. The exhibition space features dozens of detailed scenes with costumes, helmets, miniature models, and full-scale vehicle recreations.

The museum opened in 2019 and introduced a new approach to science fiction exhibitions in northern Germany. The project grew from the vision of bringing fan-made creations together in a dedicated space where visitors could explore these works.

The museum operates on different schedules depending on the day of the week, with extended hours on weekends. It is helpful to plan your visit in advance, as some areas have limited wheelchair access and may require navigation around displays.

Visitors can sit in working flight simulator cockpits and experience the sensation of piloting a spacecraft. These simulators are built into full-scale vehicle replicas, creating a hands-on encounter that goes beyond typical museum viewing.
