Seaport Hotel and Seaport World Trade Center, Hotel in den Vereinigten Staaten
The Seaport Hotel and Seaport World Trade Center is a modern building complex in Boston's Seaport District, located by the water with views of the harbor. It offers more than four hundred hotel rooms, large meeting spaces totaling over nine thousand six hundred square feet, several dining options, and facilities including a fitness center, swimming pool, and conference areas.
The site was originally a large pier built in 1901 for loading and unloading ships, and was the largest in the world at that time. When shipping practices changed in the early 1980s, the area was transformed into the World Trade Center, with the hotel added in 1998.
The district name reflects Boston's roots in maritime trade and commerce. Today, you can observe how the space brings together business travelers, conference attendees, and tourists, visibly demonstrating the transformation from a working port to a modern business hub.
The complex is easy to reach by public transportation, particularly the Silver Line bus that stops directly at the World Trade Center station. There is also a large underground parking garage with more than two thousand spaces for those arriving by car.
The hotel was named by Forbes Traveler in 2008 as one of the greenest hotels in the United States and runs a Seaport Saves program focused on energy efficiency. Some rooms are designed to be hypoallergenic, making them particularly suitable for guests with allergies.
