Docks Bruxsel, Shopping center in Brussels, Belgium
Docks Bruxsel is a shopping and dining complex spread across multiple levels housing fashion stores, restaurants, and entertainment spaces connected by modern corridors. The layout flows through several floors with elevators and escalators linking each section together.
The building rose from 2016 onwards on a former industrial site at the Brussels Canal docks, transforming the area into a retail district. The project revived a neglected waterfront and drew shops and restaurants to the location.
The space features work by Belgian designers woven throughout its interior design and brings together neighborhood shops alongside global brands. Visitors walk past locally rooted stores mixed with international retailers.
The area provides 1,700 parking spaces and charging stations for electric cars and is directly served by trams 3 and 7. Weekday visits or early morning hours tend to be less crowded than afternoons and weekends.
A waterbus connects the site through a pier directly to Vilvoorde via the canal system, offering visitors a rare travel option. This water route allows travelers to reach the location in an unusual way.
