Marc Chagall National Museum

The National Marc Chagall Museum houses 400 artworks including paintings, drawings, and pastels spread across multiple exhibition spaces focused on biblical narratives.

The museum opened its doors through collaboration with architect André Hermant, who created a minimalist structure in 1973 to showcase Chagall's biblical masterpieces.

Twelve large paintings depicting Genesis and Exodus occupy the main gallery, while five compositions illustrating the Song of Songs fill the hexagonal room.

The museum provides audio guides in eight languages and maintains summer hours from May through October, operating daily between 10 AM and 6 PM.

The Mediterranean garden features white and blue agapanthus flowers that bloom each July 7th, marking Chagall's birthday, alongside a reflecting pool with mosaic artwork.
